Gold medal for Floresta Carmenere 2017 at the Decanter World Wine Awards24 de May de 2019
Santa Rita was awarded eight medals, with three Silver and four Bronze for its ultra premium wines.
London, May 2019.- After several days and more than 16,500 wines tasted, the 280 judges that participate in the Decanter World Wine Awards 2019 panel, one of the largest and most influential wine competitions, awarded Chile 5 platinum, 15 gold, 178 silver and 328 bronze medals.
Among the most awarded wineries, Santa Rita received eight medals, with Floresta Carmenere 2017 gaining the highest accolade, a Gold Medal and 95 points. Sourced from Apalta in the Colchagua valley, Floresta highlights the sense of origin combined with innovation and minimum winemaking intervention.
Closely followed Santa Rita’s high-end wines; Bougainville 2013, Pehuén 2013 and Triple C 2013 were all recognized with Silver medals, achieving 93, 92 and 90 points respectively.
The Medalla Real range was also awarded with Bronze medals, for Medalla Real Gran Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon 2016, Medalla Real Gran Reserva Carmenere and Medalla Real Gran Reserva Chardonnay. Floresta Field Blend Blanco 2017 also received a Bronze Medal.
