Sustainability at Santa Rita in The Future of Wine Forum UK

London, December 2020.- With over 700 people form the wine industry attending, the Future of Wine Forum took place virtually at the end of November, linking grape growers, winemakers, retailers and trade executives in general on sustainable topics affecting the wine sector.
Santa Rita Estates participated as one of the speakers in the conference, with Elena Carretero, Corporate Affairs and Sustainability Director, commenting on the social issues in wine, and how to improve community empowerment in the wine business, together with Anna Chilton, ESG and Agriculture, Executive MBA in Sustainable Business BSL.
The session covered the importance of the wine history and culture for the industry’s sustainability, and how Santa Rita has applied the principle of local development through territorial valorization programs based in education and culture.
