Pewën de Apalta 2023 was recognized as the best Carmenère in Chile, while Floresta Cabernet Sauvignon 2023 and Floresta Sauvignon Blanc 2023 received the “Revelation Wine” award.

In the latest edition of the prestigious Descorchados 2025 guide, Casa Real Reserva Especial 2022 from Viña Santa Rita achieved an impressive 98 points, establishing itself as one of the most outstanding red wines of the year. This iconic wine from the Maipo Valley was featured in categories such as “Top Reds of the Year,” “Best Reds of the Year,” “Best Maipo Andes,” and “Best Cabernet Sauvignon,” solidifying its position as a benchmark in Chilean winemaking.

The recognition for Casa Real adds to other significant achievements for Viña Santa Rita. Pewën de Apalta 2023, with 97 points, was named “Best Carmenère” and “Best Apalta,” reaffirming its excellence in this variety. The Floresta range also stood out: Floresta Cabernet Sauvignon 2023, with 96 points, and the newly released Floresta Sauvignon Blanc 2023, with 95 points, were honored as “Revelation Wines,” positioning themselves as leaders in their respective categories.

Additionally, Floresta Carménère 2023, with 96 points, was among the best Carmenères, while Floresta Field Blend Blanco 2023, with 95 points, was recognized as one of the “Best White Blends” in the country. Furthermore, Floresta Cabernet Franc 2023 and Floresta Chardonnay 2023, both scoring 94 points, were praised for their quality and distinctive character.

Joining this list is Triple C 2022, a Chilean reinterpretation of the Bordeaux blend, which scored 96 points and was included among the “Best Maipo Andes.” Meanwhile, Bougainville 2022 earned 93 points, showcasing the exceptional diversity of wines offered by Viña Santa Rita.

The Ultra Premium wines of the Chilean winery also received significant recognition in the Descorchados 2025 guide. Casa Real Escudo de Familia Cabernet Sauvignon 2022 scored 94 points, while Medalla Real Gran Reserva Sauvignon Blanc 2024 and Medalla Real Gran Reserva Chardonnay 2024 each received 93 points. Meanwhile, Medalla Real Gran Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon 2023 and Medalla Real Gran Reserva Carménère 2023 achieved 92 points each.

These results reinforce Viña Santa Rita’s status as a leading figure in Chilean winemaking, celebrated for the diversity and quality of its wines.
