Floresta Carmenère 2022 was awarded Best Carmenère in Chile, while Floresta Cabernet Sauvignon 2022 was recognized as the Best Cabernet Sauvignon in the country.

Viña Santa Rita hosted the awards ceremony for the renowned Mesa de Cata La CAV 2025 guide, a day marked by significant achievements and recognitions for both the winery and its team.

Teresita Ovalle, winemaker of the Floresta range, was honored as Young Winemaker of the Year, a distinction that celebrates her talent, dedication, and vision. “A versatile and dedicated winemaker, who has gradually built her merits, which are now beginning to bear fruit,” the publication highlighted.

When it comes to our wines, Floresta, the innovative and minimally intervened range that reinterprets Chile’s classic varieties from a unique perspective, stood out with impressive accolades. Floresta Carmenère 2022 was named Best Carmenère in Chile with 96 points, with the guide noting: “Apalta cements itself as a great region for Carmenère.” Meanwhile, Floresta Cabernet Sauvignon 2022 was recognized as the Best Cabernet Sauvignon in the country with 97 points, described as “a line that demonstrates remarkable consistency year after year.” Additionally, Floresta Chardonnay 2022 received 95 points, Floresta Field Blend Blanco 2022 94 points, and Floresta Cabernet Franc 2022 93 points.

Within Colección de Origen, the portfolio of high-end wines with labels inspired by the Santa Rita Park, Pewën de Apalta 2022 stood out with 95 points, while Triple C 2021 and Bougainville 2021 each received 94 points.

Another standout wine was Casa Real Escudo de Familia Cabernet Sauvignon 2021, which scored 96 points. Additionally, in the Medalla Real Gran Reserva range, the Chardonnay 2022 earned 93 points, while the Cabernet Sauvignon 2022, Syrah 2022, and Pinot Noir 2022 each received 92 points.

Finally, in the Medalla Real Reserva range, all wines achieved 90 points, including Cabernet Sauvignon 2022, Merlot 2022, Syrah 2022, Sauvignon Blanc 2022, and Chardonnay 2022.

These recognitions solidify Viña Santa Rita and its team as leaders in Chilean viticulture, reaffirming their commitment to excellence, quality, and innovation.
