Viña Santa Rita’s Ultra Premium winemaker was highlighted by the acclaimed British magazine, The Drinks Business, which has just published a new edition of the report that recognizes and profiles the best winemakers based on the high performance of their wines.

The prestigious English magazine, The Drinks Business, recently published the report with the list of the 100 Best Winemakers in the world where Sebastián Labbé, Viña Santa Rita’s Ultra Premium winemaker, highlighted.

Labbé commented, “It is an honor to have been named as one of the top 100 winemakers in the world. I believe that this is not only a personal recognition but also for the entire Santa Rita team that works with me. We are lucky to have the opportunity of working in vineyards which have tremendous potential to continue producing world-class wines capable of achieve this type of awards”.

This new guide sheds light on the talented people who work in the vineyards, have a high performance in winemaking, and includes those who have obtained the highest distinctions in The Drinks Business Global Masters tasting series, as is the case of Casa Real Reserva Especial 2019. The icon wine of the winery has been recognized and included within the ranking of the Best Cabernet Sauvignon of the world by Drinks Business and won Gold Medal in the Drinks Business’ Cabernet Sauvignon Global Masters.

According to the winemaker, Casa Real Reserva Especial 2019 is a wine that “re­ects the elegance and great depth of this fantastic vintage which shows great concentration due to higher temperatures during the spring and summer months”.
