26 de December de 2022
This group activity, which includes an ascending path to the hill next to the vineyard, allows us to appreciate more than 500 hectares of the Maipo Valley, enjoying the environment and the best of the wines.
Viña Santa Rita offered a unique experience for people to connect with nature and enjoy the wine world, through the recently inaugurated trekking Loma de Alto Jahuel. It is available exclusively for groups, from where you can have a unique panoramic view of the Maipo Valley.
The tour begins at 09:00 hours with an introduction to this valley that is recognized worldwide for the quality of its Cabernet Sauvignon. This group hike, of low difficulty, will have several stops and dynamics that will allow you to learn and reflect on the world of wine and connect with the nature of the place and enjoy its tranquility. At the highest part of the trail, you can enjoy a glass of white wine and a selection of cheeses and charcuterie with a view of the 500 hectares that the vineyard has planted in this natural amphitheater.
Later, around noon, people will begin to descend the hill to finish with a picnic in the park of the Andean Museum, a project under the Cultural Donations Law, which houses a collection of about 3,000 archaeological and ethnographic pieces of pre-Columbian peoples that can be visited free of charge.
This activity, which requires prior reservation, has a total duration of 3.5 hours, has a capacity for between 10 and 20 people, and costs $80,000 per visitor.
Viña Santa Rita was recently chosen as the “Best Wine Tourism Experience of the Country” by the Chile 2022 Wine Tourism Awards, an initiative that seeks to identify and recognize the best wine tourism experiences and activities with a high positive impact on the territories where they are developed and is organized by Corfo’s Enoturismo Chile program.
